Understanding the Problem

Building a premium e-commerce platform that could handle high traffic during flash sales while providing a buttery-smooth user experience. The checkout flow needed to be fast, secure, and visually engaging to reduce cart abandonment.

Crafting the Approach

Leveraged Next.js for server-side rendering and static generation, combined with Stripe for payments and Prisma for the database layer. Implemented optimistic UI updates and skeleton loading states throughout, resulting in a checkout flow that feels instant even under heavy load.
